The Board of Directors of The Danish Immigrant Museum helps make it possible for people from around the world and future generations to experience Danish-American heritage on many levels. This special group of men and women has unselfishly dedicated themselves to the preservation of their
culture and the mission of the museum. They join an elite group of individuals who over the past twenty years have worked to build and maintain an organization of which all Danish-Americans can be proud.

Participating at their own expense, the Directors come together three times a year to share their skills and experience in providing oversight to the administration of the museum and to develop ideas and plans that will contribute to its continuing vitality. It is the practice of the Board to meet each February and June in different locations around the United States so that they may share and celebrate Danish heritage with those Danish-Americans who may not otherwise be able to link directly to the
museum.

Without the dedication, energy and support of a strong team-oriented Board of Directors, the Staff of the museum would not be able to work effectively in managing
day-to-day operations of The Danish Immigrant Museum.
