Julefest is an annual celebration in preparation of Christmas held in the Danish Villages of Elk Horn-Kimballton on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday immediately following Thanksgiving.

Visit an authentic Danish Julestue in the museum’s “hyggelig” (cozy) kitchen on Friday and Saturday for home-baked cookies, Æbleskiver, and glogg! Learn how to make Danish Christmas crafts and prepare your home for a genuine Danish Christmas.  Fun for the entire family!
