			<description><![CDATA[<p>The Danish Immigrant Museum is pleased to co-sponsor a presentation at Lauritzen Gardens in Omaha as part of the celebration of Jens Jensen, starting at 7pm on Friday evening, May 18.</p>
<p>Robert Grese, professor at the University of Michigan and biographer of Jens Jensen, will compare Jensen to other architects and landscape designers in the early 20th century. &nbsp;Visit www.lauritzengardens.org&nbsp;for more details about Lauritzen Gardens and this public program. &nbsp;</p>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>Looking to brush up on your Danish? &nbsp;The museum will have many used Danish-language titles for sale - and some English-language volumes too - in the museum lobby from May 25 through May 28. &nbsp;Many bargains available, and all purchases support the museum's Acquisition Fund for collection artifacts. &nbsp;</p>

			<description><![CDATA[<p>Celebrate Danish heritage at The Danish Immigrant Museum and throughout the community of Elk Horn! &nbsp;Enjoy the parade, food, fun run/walk, the Tour of Tivoli bike ride, and many entertainers and craft demonstrations. &nbsp;</p>
<p>The Museum will be open for Tivoli Fest 9-5 on Saturday, and 12-5 on Sunday. &nbsp;Bedstemor's House also opens for tours that weekend, beginning the summer schedule of daily hours from 1 to 4pm. &nbsp;</p>]]></description>

<p>The work of Neoma Thomas will be on view from July 21&nbsp;through January 6, 2013. &nbsp;Her work explores the presence of past generations in family life, and her intersecting interests in portraiture and genealogy. &nbsp;Neighbors in Audubon County, Iowa, may recognize many of the faces and names included in her work!</p>
