Confirmation: Coming of Age in Denmark and the US

Daughters of Danish immigrants John & Sofie (Johansen) Larsen, Elisabeth and Lora were both born in South Dakota. Their family moved to Alberta in the autumn of 1925. Lora later married and remained in Canada, but Elisabeth married American Jens Moller Christensen and returned to live in Jerauld County, South Dakota.

The girls' mother is featured elsewhere in this exhibit.
