Julefest
Begin your Christmas at The Danish Immigrant Museum!
Julefest is an annual celebration held in the Danish Villages of Elk Horn-Kimballton on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday immediately following Thanksgiving. Both towns will be festively decorated for Christmas. The Kimballton Town Hall will host "A Prairie Christmas" where over 30 folk artists will be displaying and selling their works. Meanwhile at the Elk Horn Town Hall, crafters will be selling their goods at the "Main Street Country Boutique." Sip glögg and sample cheese while shopping at the Danish Windmill.
Elk Horn's Volunteer Fire Department will host the Better Elk Horn Club's annual pancake supper on Saturday evening from 4 - 7 p.m. The Elk Horn Lutheran Church will be the site of the annual Christmas Concert on Saturday, at 7 p.m. To access the Julefest 2009 brochure click here.
