SUMMARY:Victor Borge Legacy Award Recital 2024
DESCRIPTION:Piano Competition 2024\n\n\n\nThe Museum of Danish America is proud to present the Victor Borge Legacy Award Piano Competition and recital series. \n\n\n\nAwards of $1000 and $500 will be given to the first and second-place winners\, respectively. All winners will perform a recital on the Victor Borge piano at the Museum of Danish America in Elk Horn! \n\n\n\nRecital date for 2024 will be Sunday\, April 21.\n\n\n\nThe competition is held in conjunction with the South West Iowa Music Teachers Association\, the Omaha Music Teachers Association\, the Des Moines Piano Festival\, and the Museum of Danish America. \n\n\n\nFunding for the Victor Borge Legacy Award is provided through a generous gift from R. James and Janet Borge Crowle\, Saint Michaels\, Maryland. \n\n\n\nAdditional support comes from the Eric and Joan Norgaard Charitable Trust and the Charles W. and Norma J.
