A Smorgasbord of Danish Immigrants

The Larsens emigrated with six children from Maribo County on the island of Lolland in 1911. They settled in Kansas, where two more children were born. Around 1920 they moved to Iowa and lived in the Elk Horn, Brayton and Gates areas: back row: Holger, Valborg “Ethel,” Ellen; middle row: Ingeborg, Hans Peder, Astrid “Esther,” Charlotte Eline, Paul “Andy,” front row: Dan and Ruth.
