    Denmark: A Photographer's Odyssey

    Denmark: A Photographer's Odyssey Description:

In a unique personal odyssey, photographer Marshall H. Cohen weaves Danish history to 150 photographs proceeding chronologically in sections from the viking periods (the 8th to the 11th centuries) through the Christian landscape, the royal landscape, the trend to democracy, to modern Denmark; the book includes additional narratives on Danish agriculture, Hans Christian Andersen, King Christian IV, and the Danish Tall Ship, The Danmark. The book includes prize-winning photographs taken on many of the photographer's personal assignments, including "Operation Sail" a July 4th parade of tall ships in New York.
