Betty Pedersen Bell, daughter of Danish immigrants, found her artistic voice later in her life – but managed to make a statement! She created watercolor images of people from earlier eras – not specific portraits, but images that evoke characters full of personality.

Eleven of her works are now on view, on loan from her family.
