Brown Bag Lunch – A Practical Farmer’s Journey with Ron Rosmann

Join MoDA as we welcome Ron Rosmann, a fourth-generation farmer with a 700-acre certified organic, diversified crop and livestock operation.

Recently, Ron published A Practical Farmer’s Journey: A History of Community, Stewardship, and Resilience. Part memoir and part critique of modern agriculture, the book traces the lives of immigrants and the founding of rural communities and their farms, examines the rise and consequences of industrialized, corporate agriculture, and explores how agricultural communities can move toward more sustainable, thoughtful farming practices.
