This exhibition brought the main floor story of Across Oceans, Across Time to the next level. It followed three Danish families and their businesses: O&H Danish Bakery of Racine, Wisconsin; Andersen Windows of Bayport, Minnesota; and the Bansen Dairies of California, Oregon, and Nebraska.
Through this exhibition, visitors learned about three Danish families: the Olesens, Andersens, and Bansens, as well as the businesses they started and have successfully passed down through the generations. Visitors were encouraged to take genealogical handouts and brochures so that they may delve into their own family history through genealogical research.
