Carl Rohl-Smith: The Artist at Work
This exhibit featured statues created by a highly respected Danish artist during the last decades of the 19th century. The statues on exhibit, all loaned to us from the Trapholt Museum in Kolding, Denmark, were among those that sank with the ship that was transporting them back to Denmark in 1904. All pieces were recovered and restored, and now the Museum was happy to be able to display some of these pieces for the first time.
