Evelyn Matthies is a life-long artist and art instructor in Brainerd, Minnesota. This exhibition explores the many artistic styles, subjects, and techniques that have marked her decades-long career.
Pictured at left is "Grandpa's Home Town," depicting the neighborhood in Denmark from which her grandfather emigrated. This piece was acquired for the museum's permanent collection.
